1. Download and install the Nexx Home app.
2. Make sure your phone is connected to your 2.4Ghz Home WiFi. If you have both 2.4GHz and 5GHz under one WiFI name, please check with your router or your ISP support on how to separate the two bands into separate WiFi names. If you can't, try creating a guest network using 2.4Ghz.
3. Plug the Nexx Plug into an outlet and make sure the LED light is solid blue. If the light is other than blue, then try the reset procedures below.
Press and hold the reset/power button until you get a solid blue light. If this step doesn't make the light turn solid blue, then try the Hard Reset below.
Unplug the Nexx Plug, press and hold the reset/power button while it's unplugged. Keep holding the button down and plug in the Nexx Plug. The LED light should stay OFF, but if the light doesn't go OFF, then repeat the process and try holding the reset/power button down harder. If the light stays OFF, then unplug the Nexx Plug, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in. It should turn solid blue, but if it still doesn't, then email us at firstname.lastname@example.org

4. Open the Nexx Home app, and add Nexx Plug by pressing the "+ sign" to add a device, and follow the onscreen instructions to continue with the setup and to complete it.
