Yes, even if your home WiFi network went down / temporarily lost internet connection and both your phone and the Nexx device has no internet connection, the Nexx Home app will still be able to activate the device over Bluetooth.
Make sure that your phone is within Bluetooth range of the device, and then tap the button on the app to activate the door.
