Nexx Garage - NXG-200 - Configuration tips for fast blinking blue LED connection issue
First make sure that you are connecting the Nexx device to a 2.4 Ghz WiFi network, as Nexx will not connect to a 5 Ghz network.
After tapping "Configure Device", you will need to wait a few minutes for the device to try and connect to WiFi before selecting anything on the WiFi verification screen. If after at least 5 minutes and the blue light on the Nexx device is blinking rapidly, this usually means that the device is able to connect to your WiFi network but is unable to connect to the internet or the cloud server.
If the Nexx device can connect to your WiFi network but not able to connect to the internet, check to see if your phone, computer, or other internet devices can connect to the internet (test by opening some web pages for example). If other devices can connect to the internet, then it could be a firewall or some sort of web filter preventing the Nexx device from connecting to our cloud server. You will need to add the Nexx device as an exception or make sure that nothing is blocking the connection.
If you are not sure if there is a firewall running on the network, try creating a guest network that is only on 2.4Ghz for the Nexx device to connect to and try connecting to that network instead.
