Attached is the guide to programming a keypad address for the Vista 128 B which has different instructions than the other Vista panels.
The Vista 128B can be assigned 0 - 30 addresses.
1. Enter Program Mode, Installer code (4140) + 8 + 0 + 0 + 0 screen displays “PROGRAM MODE * FILL # VIEW –00”
2. Press * or # 93, screen displays “ZONE PROG?”
3. Press “ * ” until “DEVICE PROG?” is displayed then press 1 to enter device programming.
4. Enter the Device Address Number ( 01-30 ) then press “ * ” to proceed.
Select address 23 first.
5. Enter Device Type options below and press “ * ” to proceed
It should say 0, for device not used, if this is the case then press 1 or else go to step 4 again and select another address.
6. If device type 1 is selected the screen displays, “CONSOLE PART.” Enter the partition (1-9) then press “ * ” to proceed.
Press 1 for partition 1
7. If device type 1 is selected the screen displays, “SOUND OPTION”. Enter (00-03) then press “ * ” to proceed.
Press 00 for no suppression.
8. If device type 1 is selected the screen displays, “KEYPAD GLOBAL”. Enter 1 for yes and 0 for no then press “ * ” to proceed.
Press 0 for Global and if asked about AUI press 0
9. To exit Device programming, at the “DEVICE ADDRESS” prompt press 00 + “ * ” to exit the menu mode and the screen will display “QUIT MENU MODE?”.
Press 00 + " * " to exit.
