Nexx Alarm - NXAL-100 - Can Nexx Smart Alarm replace my existing alarm system or work with a non-working alarm system?
Nexx Smart Alarm DOES NOT replace an existing alarm system or work with a non-working alarm system. Nexx Alarm is designed to work with your existing, working alarm to add advanced SMART features to your alarm system, giving you greater convenience and control.
Before installing Nexx Alarm:
1) Your existing alarm must be in working condition. If you cannot arm or disarm or if there is some periodic beep sound, your alarm may have issues that have to be resolved before Nexx Alarm can work with it. Please contact your alarm installer or manufacturer for help in resolving any issues with your alarm system.
2) Your existing alarm has to be compatible. Test for compatibility here:
3) You must have a 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi connection. Nexx Alarm does not work on a 5 Ghz connection.
