Nexx garage NXG-100 - Gate Use with Nexx Garage
Nexx Garage can be used with gates that have one switch to open and close. This behavior is similar to a garage door opener. However, some gates have a switch for open, a switch for stop, and a switch for close, and these gates will not work with Nexx Garage. To verify compatibility please perform this test:
Take a wire with both ends stripped or a straightened-out paper clip and put each end to the same terminals as the wall button wires are terminated. By doing so, if your gate activates, then it is compatible with Nexx Garage. If it does not activate, then it is not compatible and would not work with Nexx Garage.
Also please note that Nexx Garage is meant for indoor installation so it is not waterproof. Outdoor installation would need protection from the elements.
