Nexx Garage - NXG - Device not configuring, using Mesh network.
Some mesh networks don't allow you to split the main WiFi network into two (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) but it should still allow you to create a guest network that is only on 2.4 GHz. Also if you have the option, try lowering down the transmit power of the 5 GHz network while configuring the Nexx device so the stronger signal would be coming from the 2.4 GHz WiFi network instead.
One other trick you could do is to turn off your router first then using a second phone (preferably an Android device) to create a mobile hotspot that has exactly the same WiFi name/password as your router and then connect the Nexx device to it first. After successfully configuring the Nexx device, you can turn off the mobile hotspot and turn your router back on. This usually "tricks" the Nexx device into connecting to the mesh network as the mobile hotspot you initially created would be on 2.4 GHz.
